I have always been fascinated by history, science and the decorative arts. As a kid I visited Norwich Castle and came home and turned the play-house into a Museum full of 'treasures' I'd dug out of the garden. I have since spent as much time as possible in Museums in the UK and Europe. So, becoming a Conservator has turned out to be a perfect mix of that which I find most interesting.
I have enjoyed this course immensely, especially the opportunities to work with a wide variety of objects and Materials, ranging from teddy-bears to medieval leather shoes, gilded frames and ceramics.
I hope to continue my studies further at MA level and specialise in Textiles.
